Recurring component / series-defect detection
Units are grouped by failed component / part number and defect category. Groups of 2 or more are flagged as a likely series issue.
Top & Worst Devices — Failure Rate
Failure rate = total RMAs for a model ÷ total stock units for that model × 100. Requires a Stock Inventory entry for the model.

Shared cloud database
Every device that logs in with the master password reads and writes the same Firestore database in real time — add or edit an RMA on one bench and it appears on every other device within seconds, no manual export needed.
Note: each record (including its photos) is capped around 1 MB by Firestore. Photos are auto-compressed, but very large or numerous images on one RMA may fail to sync to the cloud even though they stay saved on this device.
Local backup (this device)
Export or import a JSON snapshot as an extra offline backup. Importing also pushes the imported data to the shared cloud database if connected.
Excel export/import is for editing RMA and stock data in a spreadsheet. Photos aren't included in Excel files — importing an Excel file updates matching records (by ID) and adds new rows as new records, without touching existing photos. Use the JSON backup above for a full snapshot including photos.
Security
The master password is never stored or compared in plain text — only a salted SHA-256 hash is kept in this browser. It is checked locally, per device; it is not itself sent to the cloud.
